Donations:
Our school is doing a hamper for 2 needy families in the area. Donations of food, and household items are being collected from students each morning. In addition to these items, presents for 5 boys (aged 1,4,7,12,13) and a girl (aged 5)are appreciated.
Our class is collecting specifically for the 5 year old girl. She likes Pony People, Monster High, and needs a Winter coat (size8), hat and mittens. If you would like to contribute, let me know and I will coordinate so that she is taken care of.
Thank you so much.

French assignments
Some parents are asking about our 2 French assignments. They are:
1. Family tree. A family tree with two sentences under each person. Sentences are like this example:
C'est ma mere ( this is my mother)
Elle s'appelle Mary. ( her name is Mary)
* be careful to get the gender right. the French for my is 'ma' for mom, grandma and aunt, 'mon' for dad, grandpa and uncle.
* elle=she; il=he
2. An oral self introduction. eg. hello, my name is Tom. I am nine years old. I have a sister. Her name is Cindy. (Bonjout, Je m'appelle Tom. J'ai neuf ans. J'ai une soeur. Elle s'appelle Cindy)
Hope that helps
